SHN seeks a Professional Engineer with a license in Oregon or California. This is not just a senior role; it is a chance to be a founding pillar of SHN’s newly structured Inland Region. You will blend deep and diverse engineering expertise with strategic business development, set technical standards, mento a future team, and identify new opportunities to establish SHN’s presence and revenue streams in the region.

*Who You Are:*
* A licensed engineer with 7+ years of experience post -PE, (3 years for mid-level) with a focus on municipal engineering services
* An initiative-taker who thrives in ambiguous, startup-like environments, unafraid to tackle challenges and define processes.
* Qualified to lead projects, mentor junior staff, and drive technical initiatives.
* Strong business acumen with experience in client engagement, sales support, or business development.
* Excellent communicator, able to influence technical teams and non-technical stakeholders alike.
*What You'll Do:*
* *Lead Technical Strategy*: Design, develop, and oversee core engineering solutions for new projects, ensuring quality, scalability, and adherence to best practices.
* *Build & Grow: *Function as the initial technical lead, identifying market needs, developing service offerings, and building client relationships to generate new business.
* *Mentor & Develop:* Recruit, train, and guide future junior engineers as the team expands, fostering a culture of innovation.
* *Hands-On Execution:* Perform advanced project delivery, be the technical point person.
* *Technical & Business:* Translate technical capabilities into compelling client solutions and business proposals, driving project acquisition.
*Compensation & Benefits:*
