BCM ADVISORS, LLC is an independent, fee-only wealth advisory firm serving over 500 clients with $748M in assets under management (as of 3/24/2026). The firm is focused on delivering comprehensive wealth management advice for meeting financial goals through capital growth and wealth preservation.

We are seeking an Associate Wealth Advisor to join our advisory team in Lafayette, LA. This role supports Senior Wealth Advisors in servicing existing client relationships and is intentionally designed to begin with administrative and client servicing responsibilities before transitioning into an advisory role over time. You’ll work closely with senior advisors, gain exposure to real client relationships, and learn the advisory profession step by step. At BCM, we teach the advisory craft first—before expecting advisors to independently lead client relationships.

Base Salary + Bonus Potential

What You’ll Do

Client Service & Relationship Building:

• Support Senior Wealth Advisors in managing and servicing existing client portfolios.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through proactive communication and exceptional service.
• Prepare for client meetings, assist with documentation, follow-up, and execution of client service workflows.

Technical & Professional Development:

• Learn BCM’s wealth management philosophy, investment approach, and client service standards.
• Master core wealth advisory concepts, including financial planning, investment strategies, and economic principles.
• Build proficiency in our systems and workflows. (custodian: Schwab; CRM: Redtail)

Career Progression:

• Work toward earning the Series 65 license as a foundational step in becoming a Wealth Advisor.
• Pursue the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation to deepen expertise in comprehensive financial planning.
• Ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development are core to this role. Over time, the role evolves from support and execution into advisory contribution and relationship leadership.
