Metal Material handler

Job Description

We are searching for a 3rd Shift Material Loader in a Steel Shop. You need to have previous experience with a manufacturing company or a metal company.

Hours: 9:00pm - 9:00am (with overtime!) Sunday-Thursday shift

Job Duties and responsibilities:

• Load trucks in a safe and timely manner.
• Ensure that all orders are banded or wired.
• Complete first article process on all orders
• Drive tractor trailers on company property
• Load each truck in sequence of its stops for off loading at each destination
• Must know how to read tape measure accurately - will be given measuring test and math test.
• Previous warehouse experience with forklift and overhead cranes preferred
• Basic math skills including whole numbers, fractions and decimals

Requirements:

• Must be able to read tape measure
• Must have strong math skills
• Must have Steel Toed Boots
• Must be a Team Player
• Previous experience with a forklift
• Previous experience material handling
• Experience working with an overhead crane
