A. Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, processing, storing, and dispatching packages as well as handling, packing, and labelling of shipments (to include unknown packages). The role involves operating warehouse equipment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and following safety regulations.

ii. Qualification / experience
• School leaving certificate / High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous relevant experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (conditional)
iii. Working conditions
• Agreeable working environment.
• Required to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Required to lift light-heavy items or packages on a daily basis.
• Exposure to varying warehouse temperatures and conditions.
• May be required to work on scheduled day off if needed or in the event of emergencies.
• Will mostly be exposed to dust or cluttered space.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
i. Loading and unloading of deliveries and verifying quantities and conditions of goods received, reporting any defects to the Warehouse Manager.
ii. Ensuring that packages are properly scanned and stored after receiving them from the airport.
iii. Ensuring orders are accurately labelled and properly packaged for transport.
iv. Assisting with loading the trucks with deliverables for other branches /couriers
v. Ensuring that all customers receive their packages from the warehouse in a timely manner in accordance with the delivery process while maintaining high levels of customer service.
vi. Organizing and storing packages in the correct locations within the warehouse to optimize space and ensure easy retrieval.
viii. Operating pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment to move and store goods safely and efficiently.
ix. Maintaining an organized and clean storage area to facilitate efficient inventory management.
x. Reporting any hazards, damages, or incidents to the Warehouse Manager immediately.
xi. Addressing any issues, in association with the Warehouse Manager, that arise with shipments, inventory discrepancies, or equipment malfunctions.
xii. Maintaining workable knowledge of all processes and procedures relating to the warehouse.
xiii. Following safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
