Warehouse General Laborer

Job Description

Job Location: Chandler, AZ 

PODS Moving & Storage, the leader in the moving and storage industry, is currently looking for a candidate to fill our warehouse position in Chandler. This position is responsible for repairing our company-branded storage containers, along with other general warehouse duties.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform assembly-type functions using hand and/or power tools (without supervision)
• Minor equipment maintenance
• Shop clean up
• Parts inventory
• pressure washing
• Basic computer skills
• Able to complete forklift training and safely operate a forklift
• adhere to all safety policies and perform all tasks in a safe manner, including adhering to OSHA regulations

Qualifying applicants should:

• Be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1-3 years in a related field (assembly, steel fabrication, carpentry, industrial painting, etc.)
• Ability to read and understand English is required for OSHA safety regulations
• Possess a current, valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• authorized to work in the US
• Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties; ability to apply these skills to units of American weight measurement, volume, and distance
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience
