Essential Job Duties:

Interprets orders to load and unload window and door products from trucks

• Scan products into and out of appropriate storage locations
• Operates forklift, cherry picker and other equipment in warehouse
• Inspects orders for error or damage
• Deliver Pella product to customer sites in Pella Boston geographic territory
• May assist in unloading trucks at customer sites
• Ability to read maps and GPS system
• Maintains drivers log
• May participate in quarterly inventories
• Maintains clean warehouse and delivery vehicle
• Conforms to all safety guidelines and procedures in the warehouse or while driving company vehicles
• Responsible for all equipment issued including: GPS system, Cell phone, gas card, keys, etc.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

1+ years experience driving a box truck up to 26 feet, MANUAL transmission

Ability to lift 100+ lbs. regularly

Reasoning and problem-solving skills

Ethical

Professional in behavior and appearance

Dependable and Punctual

Able to work 40+ hours per week; flexible hours when needed

Maintain a high level of quality and quantity of work

Maintain a positive attitude

Prior warehouse experience a plus

Forklift training
