Driver / Team Lead

Swift Moves – St. Petersburg, FL

Swift Moves is hiring a Driver / Team Lead  to run moving crews and deliver exceptional service to our customers. This role is for someone who takes pride in leadership, works hard, and knows how to keep a team organized on fast-paced moving jobs.

You’ll be responsible for driving the truck, leading the crew, protecting customers’ belongings, and ensuring every job runs smoothly from start to finish.

This is a hands-on position. You will be lifting, loading, unloading, and working alongside your crew every day.

What You’ll Do

• Drive and operate company moving trucks safely
• Lead and direct a crew of movers on residential and commercial moves
• Communicate professionally with customers before, during, and after moves
• Load and unload furniture while protecting items, walls, and floors
• Train helpers on proper moving techniques and equipment use
• Ensure trucks are properly stocked with blankets, dollies, straps, and supplies
• Complete job paperwork and verify work hours accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized truck at all times
• Handle problems on the job professionally and efficiently
