Job Description
Under the direct supervision of the office manager/providers, this position will be responsible for assisting with patient assessment and care and maintaining appropriate documentation.
Phlebotomy a must have skill, along with the ability to perform routine pre-examination procedures including taking vital signs, assessing and recording objective and subjective data concerning presenting condition. Assist practitioners with examinations and procedures.
Prepare and clean the patient area; set up equipment, clean and facilitate room set up after a procedure. Perform patient care measures including injections, minor dressing changes, and obtaining blood specimens. Calibrate and check equipment daily and/or prior to use.
Maintain and ensure confidentiality of protected health information (PHI).
Perform other related duties as assigned.
