Job Description

Position Overview

Our client, a leading provider in the plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling industry, is seeking a dependable Warehouse Assistant  to support daily operations. This individual will play a key role in maintaining efficient warehouse organization, managing inventory, and ensuring field teams have the parts and tools they need to complete jobs on time.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a fast-paced service team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular inventory counts  and maintain accurate stock records.
• Order and restock inventory  based on usage levels and upcoming project needs.
• Run parts and materials  from the warehouse to job sites as needed.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness  and organization to ensure a safe, efficient workspace.
• Track and manage tools  issued to field technicians to minimize loss or damage.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and logging materials in the company’s inventory system.
• Support warehouse leadership and field operations as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or construction support environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• CLEAN DMV report
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment.
• Basic computer or tablet skills for inventory tracking and communication.
• Positive attitude, punctuality, and willingness to “pitch in” wherever needed.
