URGENTLY HIRING - WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR

Career Recruiting Specialists is partners with a major manufacturing company located in beautiful Perry, GA. The ideal candidate will have worked in a manufacturing warehouse, experience with shipping and receiving materials, documentation in an ERP data base. This is a direct hire/permanent job. The company offers excellent compensation and benefit package. Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts.

SUMMARY

The candidate will verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -  Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Performs the physical and/or administrative duties involved in the functions pertaining to the shipping, handling, receiving, storing, counting, packaging, and distributing of equipment, and materials.
• Assembles orders and prepares products for shipment
• Pick, wrap and pack products prior to final packing for shipment and affixes identifying information to the packages
• Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
• Determines method of shipment by using various shipping systems
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments against invoices or other documents, and enters product into the inventory control system
• Rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
• Routes items to departments.
• Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Perform other warehouse and shipping duties as needed
• Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement, and record-keeping purposes

You Must Have :

• US work authorization and valid driver's license (Required)
• Basic computer and math skills
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
• Ability to work independently, problem-solving as needed
• Detail oriented, self-motivated and driven
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of operations of material handling equipment such as sit-down forklifts
