Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to join our delivery team in Plano. This role is responsible for loading pallets from the warehouse, delivering products to local companies, and unloading shipments upon arrival. The ideal candidate will be professional, customer-oriented, and committed to operating safely at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Maintain and inspect vehicle (fluid checks, fueling, cleaning, etc.)

• Map delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries

• Safely transport orders and materials to designated local sites

• Load and secure delivery vehicles properly

• Unload products at customer locations

• Coordinate with customers regarding delivery and product placement

• Maintain accurate documentation (Bill of Lading, delivery paperwork)

• Pull orders from stock to meet delivery requirements

• Receive and inspect incoming stock for accuracy and damages

• Assist with inventory counts and stock organization

• Follow all State and Federal DOT regulations and safety standards

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

• Minimum 6 months experience driving a large truck

• Minimum 6 months warehouse experience

• Clean driving record (no moving violations)

• Ability to follow safety practices and maintain accurate records

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

• Must pass background check and drug screen

• Experience operating warehouse equipment (electric lifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks) is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs (some items may exceed this weight)

• Comfortable working in various weather conditions
