Inspire and develop a high-performance team of data scientists and analytics professionals. Responsibilities: Lead a team of data scientists in formulating strategies for products that impact billions globally. Oversee end-to-end analytics projects that inform product strategy in partnership with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams. Deliver insightful recommendations to influence product direction and leadership decisions. Examine extensive and intricate datasets to address challenging issues using advanced statistical methodologies. Define and track product success through goal setting and monitoring key performance indicators. Identify opportunities for product enhancements, guiding roadmaps with your data-driven insights. Contribute to advancing the Data Science discipline at Meta by sharing best practices and mentoring fellow data scientists. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, completed prior to your start date at Meta. A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience (or 2+ years with a Ph.D.), including at least 2 years in a managerial role within analytics. Proficiency in data querying (e.g., SQL), scripting (e.g., Python), and/or statistical software (e.g., R). Proven ability to independently initiate and complete analytical projects. Experience in effectively communicating analysis results to senior leadership. Preferred Qualifications: Master's or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Background in technology, consulting, or finance sectors. A successful history of leading high-performing analytics teams.
