We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will work with patients of varying ages, primarily focusing on pediatrics, to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping individuals improve their communication skills and overall quality of life. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and families to create effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
* Provide direct speech therapy services to patients in various settings, including schools and clinics.
* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
* Educate patients and their families about speech disorders and effective communication strategies.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports.
* Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in speech therapy and related fields.
*Experience*
* A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
* Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
* Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and early intervention strategies.
* Familiarity with various speech therapy techniques and tools.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
