Gain real world experience while working as a hardware co-op at Viavi Solutions!You will work on a product development team to bring a product to market. You will assist with the various stages of the design process such as circuit design and testing, troubleshooting, writing HDL code and test benches. You will workclosely with other engineers to create market leading solutions for communications test and measurement.Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements: Completion of at least one year of undergraduate education toward a degree in CPE, EE, or CSKnowledge of fundamental electrical engineering concepts, practices, and proceduresFamiliarity with FPGA or CPLD programmable logic (e.g. Altera or Xilinx) using HDL coding (Verilog or VHDL) preferredFamiliarity with the use of common lab equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, meters)Familiarity with schematic, PCB layout, and simulation tools (e.g. spice) preferredKnowledge of data communications and telecommunications protocols and concepts preferredIf you have what it takes to push boundaries and seize opportunities, apply to join our team today.VIAVI Solutions is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer – minorities/females/veterans/persons with disabilities.Job Posting Pay Range:0to0Exceptional qualifications, experience and location may impact salary.
