À propos

Are you ready to take ownership of cutting-edge technology, tackle unprecedented challenges, and witness the impact of your contributions? Join Amazon, a rapidly expanding company seeking Software Development Engineers (SDEs) who can move swiftly, dissect and resolve complex issues, and demonstrate a strong drive to achieve results. As an SDE at Amazon, you will engage with real-world challenges on a global scale, overseeing complete systems and influencing the direction of technology that serves hundreds of millions of customers worldwide. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of technical solutions, from design and execution to deployment and support, leveraging the best tools available, including EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, and AI/ML. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality code and enhancing existing systems, while keeping customer needs at the forefront of your work. We value practicality in building solutions that are scalable and maintainable, so you should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where new products and features are delivered rapidly. The ideal candidate will showcase robust software engineering skills, with a history of creating and launching large distributed systems in collaboration with a team. Versatility is key; you should excel in a dynamic and entrepreneurial setting, eager to mentor junior engineers and adept at managing conflicting priorities. Maturity, sound judgment, and a data-driven approach are essential, along with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to the team. Key Responsibilities: Design and manage AI-powered technical components that are scalable, performant, and easy to maintain. Guide technology choices and drive the adoption of engineering best practices. Engage in hands-on coding and work backwards from customer requirements to design effective solutions. Tackle ambiguous problems and innovate to simplify existing systems. Provide technical mentoring to team members. A Day in the Life: As part of your daily responsibilities, you will offer mentorship and technical guidance, conduct design and code reviews, write exemplary code with both unit and integration tests, and manage multiple parallel projects. You will also influence technical roadmaps, perform on-call support for performance enhancements and bug fixes, refactor and deprecate systems, and engage with Product, senior leadership, customers, TPMs, and other stakeholders. Your role will involve addressing large, ambiguous challenges with a customer-centric approach while iteratively delivering high-quality code alongside your team. About the Team: The TCX Engineering team is dedicated to developing customer-facing experiences that deliver technical documentation for AWS. We thrive on innovation, research, and collaboration with product managers to deeply understand our customers' needs. By partnering with software developers, we gain insights into the inner mechanics of AWS services, enabling us to shape design and enhance customer experience. We act as a catalyst for the successful adoption and implementation of AWS services. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 3+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship). 3+ years of experience in design or architecture of systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scalability. Proficiency in at least one programming language. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 3+ years of experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. Experience with AI/ML technologies. Amazon is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate and promote diversity and strive to create an inclusive work environment for all employees. Compensation:
