Operation PAR, Inc. is a non-profit organization offering the full continuum of services for individuals with substance use and/or mental health disorders. PAR has been providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment in west Florida since 1970 through advocacy, education, clinical services, and research. This exempt full-time position is part of our talented IT team that supports the Netsmart Avatar Electronic Health Record. Experience with the Netsmart solution is a plus. The primary responsibility of this position is completion and submission of all aspects of the Operation PAR and Boley Centers, monthly Florida State Reporting, now FASAMS. This would include compiling reports, uploading data to our Managing Entities, corrections, matching data vs billing, reflags, and final submissions. The work includes development and support of forms, reports and processes. The solution environment includes Microsoft SQL Server and associated tools/techniques, Crystal Reports, Cache database, and Netsmart proprietary tools/techniques. Crosstrain in the development and maintenance of the agency's electronic health record (Avatar) modeled forms, widgets and web services. Assist in the design and maintenance of agency reports utilizing Crystal reports, SQL and SSRS. Familiar with data warehousing using SQL is a plus. The ideal candidate for this crucial position is detail oriented and can meet critical deadlines. Must have excellent communication and people skills. Essential Job Functions
Responsible for coordinating Florida state reporting data entry and reporting. Responsible for report creation using Crystal reports or similar report software, SSRS is a plus Knowledge of and experience with SQL or SQL-like programs Knowledge of database tables Data reporting / report writing Have understanding of agency clinical procedures. Some development of Avatar screens, (forms, widgets, web pages) Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code. Provides training and support for FASAMS (State Reporting) to all user levels Assist with help desk tickets for Avatar issues (as available) Must be customer service oriented All other related job duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of computer hardware and software utilized by the agency, including SQL, Crystal Reports, SSRS, MS Office applications, and database software Familiarity with Python or R as well as Powershell or Bash a plus Familiarity with Windows desktop and Server, operating systems Knowledge of FASAMS state reporting functions a plus Ability to create, modify, and troubleshoot reports Ability to solve computer and data problems with available tools and skills Ability to communicate effectively with technical support engineers and end-users Ability to identify logical steps in dependent fashion and accomplish these steps to deliver solution Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and make data-driven decisions Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and funders Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines Ability to communicate in English with speaking, hearing, and writing skills Education and Experience
Computer Science degree required or commensurate experience: Associate degree with three years' experience or Bachelor's degree with one year experience Two years' experience in networking environments and a thorough knowledge of computer architecture and interconnectivity A comparable amount of training, education or experience may be substituted for the above minimum qualifications.
