Job Description Inventory Data Technician
Reports To: Plant Manager
Type: Full-Time
Schedule: M-F, 7a-3p
Pay: Up to $23 per hour Position Summary
The Inventory Data Technician is responsible for maintaining accurate system inventory through disciplined work ticket review, reconciliation, and transaction entry. This role ensures production activity is accurately reflected in the system, work tickets are properly closed, and inventory balances align with physical reality. Core Responsibilities Work Ticket Review & Closure Inventory Reconciliation & Transactions Cycle Counts & Physical Inventory Documentation & Traceability Seat Accountabilities (Duties) Review all completed production work tickets for accuracy and completeness Reconcile raw material usage, finished goods output, and scrap Enter accurate production and inventory transactions into ERP Ensure all work tickets are closed timely and correctly Investigate and resolve discrepancies prior to closure Maintain accurate lot traceability Execute cycle counts and support physical inventory counts Maintain audit-ready documentation Qualifications & Minimum Requirements High School diploma Bookkeeping experience 1 year+ Manufacturing experience 1 year+ IT Literacy - MS Office, ERP Able to troubleshoot system issues to meet timelines Proactive attention to detail and able to keep accurate records Effective communicator with a diverse group of team members Foster a positive work environment Able to perform basic math calculations Environment/Physical Requirements
Ability to work in an environment with moving mechanical parts, and Forklift traffic. Ability to work in a dusty environment with potential airborne allergens & particles. Working in Seasonal Conditions Ability to work in a moderate to noisy environment Walking to various locations throughout the facility Climbing Stairs, Ladders and Straight Ladders Standing Crawling, crouching, and kneeling Regularly required to use hands and arms to feel and reach. Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally 55 lbs. Ability to work in confined spaces. Seated computer work
