Are you ready to help us make the future? Honeywell Aerospace is hiring an analog Electrical Engineer with Systems experience in our Redmond, WA facility.
This position will be responsible for the design of new products, as well as support of existing products in our high-performance accelerometer portfolio.
Responsibilities will encompass architecture generation through detailed design and verification testing.
A successful candidate will have a broad background in analog electrical engineering, as well as the ability to work closely with mechanical, systems, and manufacturing functions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and test of analog circuits and systemsAnalysis to support flow down requirements to various subsystemsExecute project subtasks by following established engineering methodologies for new hardware developmentPerform simulations, data analysis, define test procedures, and review results to determine compliance to requirementsAssemble and present material for Preliminary and Critical Design ReviewsConsult with suppliers to ensure product and project complianceDrive new product development to schedule and budgetStatus reporting to senior technical staff, upper management, and customersYOU MUST HAVEBachelors in Electrical EngineeringMinimum of ten years of related engineering experience with analog circuits Must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret clearanceDemonstrated experience with analog circuitry and precision electronicsWE VALUEMasters or PhDGood understanding of fundamental physicsExperience with Linear Systems Analysis and Signal ProcessingLaplace Transforms and Fourier AnalysisDigital Signal ProcessingZ Transform and Digital Filter DesignExperience with Numerical Data AnalysisRegression and curve fittingFinite difference methodsExperience with Matlab, Simulink, and Spice design toolsKnowledge and/or experience with the design and testing of precision accelerometersAbility to consistently make timely decisions while balancing riskFamiliar with Six Sigma MethodsDemonstrate excellent oral, written communication, and interpersonal skillsProficient in use of Office Suite of programs: Word, Excel, Power Point, ProjectHoneywell helps organizations solve the world's most complex challenges in automation, the future of aviation and energy transition.
