Falx Group is looking for a motivated _*Associate Technical Specialist*_ (Service Desk Engineer) to join our growing team in Leeds. This role is ideal for someone who wants to develop a strong technical foundation and progress into specialist engineering or cyber security roles. *About the Role*
You will act as the first point of contact for technical issues across our client environments. Your focus will be on resolving queries quickly and professionally, ensuring a smooth experience for end-users. This role also serves as a development pathway into our specialist technical and cyber security teams.
*What You Will Do*
* Serve as the primary responder to Service Desk tickets, providing initial diagnosis and triage.
* Diagnose and resolve common technical issues, or escalate effectively where needed.
* Work within defined SLAs and KPIs to deliver reliable support.
* Maintain and update technical documentation and internal knowledge bases.
* Carry out routine system administration and proactive environment monitoring.
* Support engineering and consulting teams during periods of lower service desk demand.
* Engage in continuous technical development through structured training and mentorship.
*What You'll Bring*
* Experience providing technical support within a structured service environment.
* Core understanding of IT domains (through roles, certifications, or study) such as End-User Computing, Microsoft 365, Basic Networking, and Active Directory / Entra ID administration.
* Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with a methodical approach to resolving issues.
* Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills.
* Exposure to RMM tools, client management platforms, and automation technologies.

Pay: £26,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
