Role Overview: As a technician, you will be engaged in full-time work that includes 24/7 operations and periodic service calls.
Your primary responsibilities will involve ensuring the supply of chemicals and gases necessary for chip production.
This includes operating advanced equipment, performing maintenance, and adhering to stringent safety and operational protocols.
The position requires shift work, covering both day and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate chemical and gas distribution systems.
- Handle and change out gas, chemical, and slurry containers.
- Troubleshoot and perform preventative and repair maintenance on equipment.
- Use computer systems to support job functions and customer needs.
- Support quality systems and adhere to site protocols.
- Act as the primary communication point for the customer.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Leaving Certificate with 2+ years of work-related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cert/Diploma/Degree in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 4+ years of experience in a semiconductor, chemical, or manufacturing setting.
- Experience with gas and chemical delivery systems in ultra-high purity operations.
- Familiarity with safe work practices and lockout/tag out projects.
- Proficiency in MAXIMO or other maintenance database systems. xcfaprz
- Competence in MS applications such as SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
