LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER (HARDSCAPE)

4-day week / 10-hour shifts

SuperiorScape, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Operations Manager to join our team in Westover (near Chelsea, AL). 

Established in 1993, our company specializes as a general landscape contractor dedicated to providing high-quality service throughout the Birmingham area.

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $65,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year, based on experience and capabilities. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts (Monday through Thursday), with occasional weekend work as required.

Paver Patios - Retaining Walls - Grading - Drainage - Plants - Trees

Key Responsibilities :

• Coordinating project details, materials, and crew scheduling with the sales estimator and project foreman.

• Direct supervision of multiple crews on multiple projects daily.

• Site layout per plan; hardscape/ softscape/ elevation.

• Collaborating with owners, general contractors, and landscape architects to develop job execution plans.

• Overseeing material procurement and subcontractor coordination.

• Monitoring budgets and processing change orders.

• Managing project scopes to ensure industry standards and specifications are met.

• Upholding company culture through effective leadership and communication.

• Team building through strong leadership

Experience Requirements :

• A minimum of three years of landscape project management experience.

• The ability to read residential and commercial landscape construction plans.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive.

• Strong critical thinking, time management, and logical decision-making skills.

• Proficiency in operating a Skid Steer, Mini Excavator

• Proficiency in operating a transit for establishing grades.

• Comprehensive knowledge of hardscape construction techniques for retaining walls, patios, and driveways, i.e., footings/subgrades.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual proficiency is a plus.
