Job Title: Ironworker – Roof Tear-Off & Replacement

Location: Manchester, IA

Job Type: Full-time (45 Hours) Till End of October
Pay:   $25-$30 an hour based on experience
($100 a day per diem for days worked)

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Ironworker to assist with the tear-down and replacement of roofing systems. This position involves structural steel work, roof demolition, installation, and working safely at heights. Candidates should be motivated, safety-focused, and able to work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities:

• Tear off existing roofing materials and structural components
• Install new metal roofing, decking, and structural supports
• Read and follow blueprints and job specifications
• Operate hand and power tools safely
• Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety policies
• Work as part of a crew to complete projects on schedule
• Maintain a clean and safe job site

Requirements:

• Previous ironworking or structural steel experience preferred (3plus years)
• Experience with roofing or demolition is a plus
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
• Must be physically able to lift 50+ lbs
• Reliable transportation
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred (not required)
• Strong work ethic and punctuality required
