Warehouse Operative

Clarkson Evans is the largest electrical and solar installer working in the new build housing sector, wiring over 24,000 homes a year. Established over 40 years ago, we now employ more than 850 staff across the UK and we work with the country s major house builders.

If you re reliable and hardworking, you could be just the person we're looking for to play a key role in running our Trowbridge branch and supporting our electricians.

We are looking for someone with a flexible approach but typically, you will work part time - 5:30am 9:30am Monday to Friday. Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

This is a varied role, with your main responsibilities being:

• Picking all materials ordered from set pick lists
• Identifying and reporting discrepancies
• Monitoring and maintaining minimum stock levels
• Processing faulty items ready to be returned to suppliers
• Keeping the internal IT system updated
• Restocking shelves ready for the next day
• Receiving and checking deliveries
• Replenishing kitchen supplies
• Maintenance checks on company vehicle
• Cleaning and maintaining the branch premises
• Security and health & safety checks
• Monthly audits
• Carrying out additional tasks to support the business as required

Requirements

• Good numeracy skills
• Must be able to commit to very early starts
• Excellent accuracy, even when under pressure
• Ability to work using own initiative
• Self-motivated with a flexible approach to working
• Reliable and able to work independently
• Organised
• A full UK manual driving licence
• Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
