We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various settings, including schools, outpatient clinics, and inpatient facilities. This role focuses on providing exceptional patient care to individuals with disabilities, utilizing knowledge of physiology and therapeutic techniques to enhance their quality of life. The Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients of all ages, including pediatrics and those requiring early intervention.
*Responsibilities*
* Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on their specific goals and abilities.
* Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive functioning.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and strategies for daily living.
* Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
* Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients during therapy sessions.
* Stay updated on best practices in occupational therapy and participate in ongoing professional development.
*Daytime, Afternoon, Evening, Weekend Hours*

Qualifications
Authorization to work in the US (no visa sponsorship)
Master's degree as a minimum
New York State (NYS) OT license is required.
Doctorates are more than welcome!
