Package Engineer (Bridgend)

Over the next 3 to 4 years, we will be involved in heavy construction and civil engineering works across various industrial fronts, starting with enabling works in Q3: 2025.

As a vital member of our project team, reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will:

• Oversee the design, coordination, and management of various subcontractors.
• Interface with internal departments and external agencies, including Architects, Engineers, and Site Staff.
• Conduct regular site progress meetings to monitor quality, safety, and progress.
• Ensure SRM's obligations to subcontractors are clearly understood and met.

We’re looking for someone with a focus on setting out. Ideally, you will:

• Hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Be able to prepare a 3-week look-ahead programme with the help of a project planner.
• Have proven experience in package management.
• Possess experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator (a plus!).
• Be knowledgeable about building products, construction details, and relevant regulations.
• Be working towards a construction industry-related professional membership (e.g., ICE, CIOB, RICS).
