Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a Referrals Officer , you will play a crucial role in managing referrals from Local Authorities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Actively promoting foster parent vacancies through effective communication with Local Authorities.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with Local Authorities.
- Ensuring accurate and up-to-date systems at all times.
- Working to tight deadlines while using company performance data to support foster parents.
- Completing foster parent pay processes (full training provided).
- Liaising with the Referral Hub for additional support as needed.
- Keeping your line manager informed about referrals, matching, and any issues related to vacancies.
- Attending regular meetings and assisting with minute-taking.

- Demonstrate experience in the children's services sector or a similar environment.
- Show strong administrative skills and the ability to follow regulatory policies.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced team while using your initiative to create thoughtful, person-centered solutions.
- Communicate confidently with professionals at all levels.
