Seeking a Staff Network Engineer to design, engineer, and deploy scalable, high-performance network systems supporting our nationwide network. This role provides senior-level technical leadership for routing architecture, large-scale network design, and mission-critical upgrades across a service provider environment.
Key Responsibilities • Analyze architectural requirements and develop network designs for complex multi-VRF environments. • Design, plan, and implement large-scale routing and network configurations across nationwide infrastructure. • Produce clear high-level and low-level network diagrams and engineering documentation. • Lead network testing, validation, integration, and performance assurance. • Provide hands-on implementation and technical leadership for 24x7 production operations.
Education & Experience • Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer Engineering preferred. • 10+ years in large enterprise or service provider networking. • Professional certifications (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE) preferred. • Public cloud networking certifications a plus.
Skills & Qualifications • Strong service provider networking expertise: • ISIS, MPLS, Segment Routing • BGP and route reflector design • Multi-VRF, QoS, traffic shaping • IPAM, DNS, DHCP • High availability, redundancy, and failover design • Network security and firewall fundamentals • TACACS, Client, VPN services • Network automation/scripting (Python, Bash, Ansible)
