Job Summary:
Managed Services Provider (MSP) Security Analyst will be responsible for supporting MSP clients and ISG leadership as well as professional services engineers with information technology security standards and solutions. The Security Analyst will also act in a leadership role with the security recommendations for new and existing clients and any future changes for ISG Managed Service products and services.
Responsible for assisting external clients in the implementation of technical systems, software, and hardware security solutions. Evaluates client needs, develops configurations that support business processes. Defines and executes security solutions and implementation plans. Tests, audits, and troubleshoots final system setups. Provides internal and external training and end-user support as required.

You will provide STRATEGIC OVERSITE to the position by:
Researching security trends, new methods, and techniques used in unauthorized access of data in order to preemptively eliminate the possibility of system breach. Maintaining knowledge of technology security innovations and trends. You will utilize your ADMINISTRATIVE SKILLS to efficiently:
Ensure compliance with regulations and privacy laws. Develops and communicates department projects and goals. You will use your COLLABORATIVE SKILLS to:
Educate and communicate security requirements and procedures to all users and new employees. Collaborates with other employees to research and resolve problems. Support the company by completing other duties as assigned. You will use your TECHNICAL SKILLS to:
Monitor, analyze, and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard internal information systems, network, databases, and Web-based security. Conduct vulnerability assessments and monitor systems, network, databases, and Web for potential system breaches / intrusions. Evaluate expanding or enhanced computer operations; makes recommendations for improvement and upgrades to hardware and software to manage workload and system requirements. Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs. Provides technical support by identifying, investigating, and resolving users' problems with computer software and hardware. Respond to alerts from information security tools. Report, investigate, and resolve security incidents. Apply knowledge of computer software, hardware, and procedures to solve problems. Oversee internal or external systems security (i.e., cloud services). As a successful employee, you will demonstrate the following professional skills as you carry out your position:

You will meet the following educational, licensing, certification and work experience requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred. Experience in Technical Operations function, including solid experience dealing with customers, and internal teams, typically gained over 4 or more years. Experience working for an established IT organization, managed services, or cloud services provider (MSP/CSP). Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience with Managed Services PSA or RMM tool (or ITSM tooling as required). Experience with Multiple MSP Cloud based administration and licensing portals; Microsoft, Auvik, RMM, Webroot, Barracuda, Knowbe4, Umbrella, etc. Strong general background on both the system and networking aspects of Information Technology support Hold and maintain a valid driver's license; driving record must meet the criteria of ISG's insurance carrier for acceptance of coverage. You are able to work in the following environmental and working conditions:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer and phone. Work in a general office environment. Travel to client and prospect locations with varying conditions.
