Join Our Team at Integrated Services Programme (ISP) Position: Advisory Teacher - Fostering
Location: Ashurst, Hampshire
Contract: Term time only
Hours: 3 days per week (21 hours)
Salary: £36,000 pro rata

This is the essence of our Integrated Services Programme (ISP) — a holistic approach that surrounds children with a network of professionals, including social workers, fostering advisors, teachers, and therapists, all working collaboratively to provide the best care possible.
Your RoleWe are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and innovative teacher to join our dedicated team in Hampshire and Dorset. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the education of children across the South region, providing guidance to foster carers, schools, and a diverse network of professionals.
What We’re Looking ForWe seek an adaptable educator who can teach across all key stages and has experience supporting children with complex needs. Experience with looked-after children is a plus!
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Relevant classroom experience
- Flexibility and creativity in supporting children's education
- Strong decision-making skills to resolve complex educational issues
- Understanding of the educational needs and entitlements for children and young people
- Advise on educational provisions for children within the centre
- Monitor the educational progress of all children associated with the centre
- Support centre staff on educational matters
- Assist in developing education support policies and procedures
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, advising on childcare and personal education plans
- Communicate effectively with professionals to ensure each child's educational needs are met
- Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and professionals on assessment and safeguarding processes
- Provide advice to schools as needed
- Maintain accurate education case records
- Build relationships with schools, virtual schools, and local authority professionals
