Who You Are:
Versar is seeking experienced Senior Network Engineers to provide network support for the DHS Enterprise Engineering Division (EED), supporting comprehensive OneNet capabilities and services. This role requires deep expertise in LAN/WAN, enterprise wireless networking, network security engineering, collaboration tools, cloud hosting, and advanced communication services.

What You'll Do: Operational Support Software Maintenance and Upgrades Telecommunications Maintenance (Data, Voice, Images, including Wireless) Infrastructure Management Services (IMS) Configuration Management Network/Hardware Support IT Support (Tier 3 support) Explicit Knowledge of Routing Protocols Network Troubleshooting/Fault Isolation Resource Management Backup and Recovery Management Installation, Configuration, and Tuning Electronic Software Licensing Services including license: deployment, management, tracking, upgrading, etc. System Management - Firewalls, etc. IT Operation and Maintenance Planning Data Quality Management Transformation Services Continual Service Improvement Balanced Scorecard for Operations IT Infrastructure Optimization What You'll Bring:
15 years' experience providing network engineering support on programs related to network systems and infrastructure with over 5,500 field sites, 2 or more datacenters/colocation facilities, and 250,000+ users. CCNP certification - Active ITILv4 certification - Active Ability to attain and maintain DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) Must be proficient in English, both written and verbal, to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Successful results of preemployment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen. Comply with company drug and alcohol policy. Be authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the successful candidate's start date. Preferred Qualifications:
15+ years supporting DHS LAN/WAN 10+ years supporting DHS System ATO and C&A activities Experience supporting DHS St. Elizabeth Campus network Experience supporting network modernization projects
Compensation
Expected Annual Salary: $105,000 - $133,000
Versar Global Solutions provides the compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that the Company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location. The Company reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's status protected by local, state, or federal law.
Location Requirements
The position will primarily work a hybrid schedule. Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius of DC.
