We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs for patients with various physical conditions. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, as well as experience in different care settings including inpatient, outpatient, and home health environments. The Physical Therapist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.
* Develop and implement personalized care plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
* Provide therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education on injury prevention.
* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective rehabilitation.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate discharge planning and continuity of care.
* Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems to track patient progress and treatment outcomes.
* Educate patients and their families about their conditions and the importance of adherence to therapy programs.
* Stay current with best practices in physiotherapy through ongoing professional development.
*Skills*
* Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to physical therapy practices.
* Proficiency in medical terminology related to patient care.
* Experience in discharge planning and developing effective care plans.
* Familiarity with outpatient clinics.
* Background in orthopedics and women's health care is highly desirable.
* Ability to utilize EMR systems for documentation and patient management.
* Competence in various therapeutic techniques including trigger point therapy.

Pay: $34.00 - $48.00 per hour
