We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing patient-centered care to individuals of all ages in our outpatient clinic, while also working closely with our hospital medicine team to deliver high-quality care to patients in acute care settings. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and detail-oriented Physical Therapist to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and contribute to the growth of our healthcare organization.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to identify treatment goals and develop individualized plans to achieve them
- Implement and modify physical therapy interventions, including trigger point therapy, as needed
- Provide patient education and support to promote independence and self-care
- Collaborate with hospital medicine team members to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans
- Utilize anatomy knowledge to develop and implement treatment plans that are tailored to each patient's unique needs
- Stay current with the latest advancements in physical therapy techniques and best practices
- Demonstrate excellent patient care and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state where the job is located
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and hospital medicine
- Experience working in an outpatient setting or hospital acute care environment
- Proficiency in trigger point therapy and anatomy knowledge
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
- Commitment to staying current with the latest advancements in physical therapy techniques and best practices
- A passion for delivering high-quality care to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Job Types: Full-time, PRN, Contract, Per diem
Pay: $65.00 - $72.00 per hour
