We are hiring a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our growing team in Huntsville, Alabama. This role is fundamental to our daily logistics operations, involving a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient and safe handling of goods. You will be responsible for tasks such as receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, possesses a strong work ethic, and is committed to upholding our high standards for safety and productivity. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic logistics setting. We provide comprehensive training, including safety protocols and the use of necessary PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming merchandise.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack orders based on customer requirements and order tickets.
- Prepare items for shipment, ensuring correct labeling and packaging.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment at all times.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification and training available).
- Participate in regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet operational goals.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is beneficial but not required; we offer training.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Must be capable of frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe workspace and understanding the importance of PPE.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions.
- Good communication skills.
