Join our thriving Distribution Center team in San Jose, California, as a Distribution Center Associate! This role is essential for the efficient flow of goods through our facility, from receiving to shipping. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. As a DC Associate, you'll be involved in various tasks supporting our logistics operations, including order picking, packing, and inventory management. We prioritize a secure and safe working environment for all employees and mandate the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires consistent physical activity and involves regular Lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to established procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (certification required for forklifts).
- Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and system updates.
- Organize and maintain warehouse stock and storage areas.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Assist with shipping processes, including labeling and staging of outgoing goods.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain efficiency of the distribution center.
- Follow all company policies and procedures diligently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to stand, walk, and be physically active for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
