We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This role is fundamental to our daily operations, involving the movement, organization, and tracking of goods within our facility. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. You will contribute to the overall success of our logistics operations by ensuring inventory accuracy and timely order fulfillment. Safety is a top priority, and all employees are expected to follow stringent protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires consistent Lifting and manual dexterity.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring secure transport.
- Operate manual and powered equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular checks and cycle counts.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with general warehouse maintenance and housekeeping.
- Contribute to efficient logistics and supply chain processes.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting, up to 50 lbs, consistently.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and the use of PPE.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory management.
- Reliable and punctual.
