Are you a skilled Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Miami, Florida? We are hiring a dedicated individual to manage the movement of goods within our bustling warehouse. This position is vital for maintaining the flow of inventory and ensuring efficient operations. The ideal candidate possesses a valid forklift certification, a strong commitment to safety, and experience in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. We are committed to providing a safe workplace and expect all employees to strictly follow safety procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Experience with loading and unloading is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and other materials to designated areas.
- Perform routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Stack and store materials properly to ensure stability and safety.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and location verification.
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations, and wear required PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support overall logistics and warehouse operations.
- Adhere to strict protocols regarding Lifting and material handling.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with PPE requirements in a warehouse setting.
- Understanding of logistics operations and inventory flow.
