We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Picker/Packers in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, involving the careful selection and packaging of products for customer orders. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from inventory, verifying quantities, and preparing them for shipment. Attention to detail and efficiency are key to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the integrity of our logistics processes. The ideal candidate is reliable, has good manual dexterity, and understands the importance of a safe working environment. You must strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders using pick lists, scanners, or other directed methods.
- Verify product identification and quantities against order requirements.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipping, ensuring product protection.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Stage packaged orders in the designated area for pickup.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and accuracy of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse/logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Physical ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good manual dexterity and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
