Our Detroit, Michigan distribution center is looking for a motivated Distribution Center Associate to join our team. This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our warehouse, involving a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and stock merchandise accurately.
- Pick orders using RF scanners or pick sheets with a high degree of accuracy.
- Pack products securely for safe transit.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Operate material handling equipment safely, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and assist in discrepancy resolution.
- Ensure all tasks are completed within established timelines to meet operational demands.
- Must be capable of consistent lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are essential. Experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is beneficial. We provide comprehensive training on our systems and procedures.
