You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order slips, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring that each package is correctly labeled and secured. This involves navigating the warehouse, utilizing scanning equipment, and adhering to established picking and packing procedures. A keen eye for detail is crucial to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. You will work with a variety of products, requiring careful handling and appropriate packaging methods. Maintaining a safe and organized workspace is a top priority, and adherence to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is non-negotiable. The ideal candidate is reliable, motivated, and possesses good physical stamina for constant movement and occasional heavy lifting. We are looking for individuals who are committed to accuracy and speed in their work, contributing directly to the smooth flow of our warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Use required PPE, including safety shoes and gloves.
- Assist with inventory management as needed.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Contribute to a positive team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and labels.
- Proficiency with hand-held scanners.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capability of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Commitment to safety in the workplace.
