As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders. You will work in a dynamic environment, utilizing order lists and potentially scanning devices to locate and gather products. We emphasize a strong commitment to safety, and all team members are required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. This position involves a significant amount of walking, reaching, and lifting, so physical stamina is a must. A keen eye for detail will help minimize errors and improve overall efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from designated warehouse locations.
- Use handheld scanners or pick lists to identify and retrieve items.
- Verify product information to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged goods.
- Follow all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous order picking or warehouse experience is beneficial.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 35 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Awareness of warehouse safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
