We are hiring a Warehouse Worker to join our team in the bustling Los Angeles, California area. In this essential role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that keep our warehouse running smoothly. This includes receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and ensuring the overall organization and safety of our facility. Your contribution is vital to our logistics chain and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Sort and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack items accurately to fulfill customer orders.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and stocktaking.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures diligently.
- Assist with other warehouse operational needs as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manual labor role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts if needed.
Physical Requirements:
This job requires significant physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Proper lifting techniques are trained and mandatory for preventing injuries.
Safety and PPE:
Your safety is paramount. You will be required to wear specific Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as safety vests and gloves. We provide comprehensive training on all safety protocols, hazard identification, and the correct use of equipment within our logistics operations. Adherence to safety is a core requirement for all employees.
