We are actively recruiting a diligent Warehouse Worker for our facility in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this role, you will be instrumental in the smooth operation of our warehouse, handling a variety of tasks related to inventory management and order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming merchandise.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment based on customer requirements.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring the safe handling of all goods.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move inventory.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with company standards.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety.
- Use and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for specific tasks.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding inventory levels and operational issues.
- Support other warehouse operations as needed to ensure team goals are met.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred.
- Must be capable of consistent physical exertion, including Lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of basic warehouse Safety practices is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Basic understanding of inventory control and logistics principles.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
