Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on all warehouse equipment, including conveyor systems, forklifts, and automated machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Install new equipment and ensure it is properly calibrated and operational.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Work closely with the logistics team to minimize operational disruptions.
- Assist with inventory management of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct safety checks and training for equipment operators, emphasizing safe Lifting practices and hazard awareness.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role, preferably in a warehouse or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to work flexible hours if needed.
- Must wear required PPE at all times in designated areas.
- Understanding of logistics operations and the impact of equipment reliability.
