We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Portland, Oregon. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our distribution center, involving a variety of tasks related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and general warehouse upkeep. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of warehouse **logistics**, is committed to **safety**, and can handle physically demanding tasks. You will be responsible for picking, packing, and staging orders, receiving and stocking inventory, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the warehouse. This position requires consistent **lifting** of items up to 50 pounds, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail is paramount to ensure order accuracy and inventory integrity. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specifications.
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming inventory.
- Stage outgoing shipments for delivery.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent record-keeping.
- Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and free from hazards.
- Adhere to all company **safety** procedures and guidelines.
- Properly use all required **PPE**, including but not limited to safety vests, gloves, and closed-toe shoes.
- Perform regular **lifting** and moving of products, often exceeding 50 lbs.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Contribute to efficient **logistics** operations through proactive task completion.
- Report any **safety** concerns or equipment malfunctions immediately.
