We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator to join our state-of-the-art facility in San Jose, California. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe and efficient forklift operation within a busy warehouse environment. This role is essential for the movement of goods, loading and unloading of trailers, and inventory management. You will be operating various types of forklifts to move materials around the facility, ensuring timely order fulfillment and maintaining inventory accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial trucks to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload products from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform routine checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition and report any mechanical issues.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock placement.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, following all warehouse protocols.
- Follow all Safety procedures and guidelines, including proper use of PPE .
- Contribute to efficient warehouse Logistics and operations.
- Handle Lifting and moving of products as required, in conjunction with forklift operation.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Proficiency in various forklift types (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck).
- Understanding of warehouse procedures and Logistics principles.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring Lifting and physical dexterity when not operating machinery.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Commitment to following all Safety regulations and using required PPE .
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
