We are hiring a Material Handler for our facility in Provo, Utah. This role is critical to the efficient operation of our logistics center, ensuring that materials are handled, stored, and moved safely and effectively. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and preparing goods for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming inventory, verifying quantities and inspecting for damage.
- Sort, label, and stock materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified), safely.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and checks.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
- Ensure adherence to all warehouse safety standards and protocols.
- Mandatory use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics operations.
- Be prepared for tasks involving significant lifting, typically up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance with all safety regulations and PPE requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Physical capacity to handle frequent lifting and perform manual labor.
- Team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude.
