We are looking for a skilled Material Handler to join our Sacramento, California warehouse team. This role is critical to our logistics and inventory management processes, ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials. You will operate various warehouse equipment, maintain accurate records, and contribute to a safe and organized work environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and finished goods.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Transport materials between different areas of the warehouse.
- Accurately record inventory transactions and update warehouse management systems.
- Conduct regular safety checks on equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Organize and maintain warehouse stock for optimal accessibility and flow.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Support logistics and operations teams in achieving daily goals.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is essential.
- Valid forklift certification and demonstrated safe operating skills are required.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting and material movement.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and diligent use of PPE.
