We are actively seeking organized and efficient Warehouse Associates to join our dynamic team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This position is crucial for the smooth functioning of our logistics operations, involving a wide array of responsibilities from receiving and stocking to order fulfillment and shipping. As a Warehouse Associate, your accuracy and diligence are key to maintaining efficient inventory control and ensuring timely deliveries. Safety is paramount in our workplace; you will receive comprehensive training on safety procedures and be required to consistently use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role demands physical capability, including the ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds, and sustained periods of standing and movement. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated areas of the warehouse.
- Pick and pack customer orders with high accuracy.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and audits.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize appropriate PPE for all tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily logistics targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended durations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player with a proactive attitude.
- Must wear required PPE, including safety shoes.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
