Responsibilities:
- Accurately select items from warehouse locations based on order tickets.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory movement and verify product selection.
- Ensure correct product codes, quantities, and lot numbers are picked.
- Package items appropriately for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Move picked items to designated staging areas for quality checks and loading.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Participate in regular inventory cycle counts and assist with audits.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Follow all established safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding any order or inventory issues.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is desirable.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or order fulfillment is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret picking instructions and product information.
- Proficiency in using handheld scanning devices is preferred.
- Must be capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of wearing PPE.
- Dependable attendance and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
