Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Accurately put away received goods into designated storage locations.
- Pick and stage orders for shipment according to customer requirements.
- Pack orders securely, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all work areas.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in training sessions to develop new skills and improve existing ones.
- Contribute to overall team productivity and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding and implementation of safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
